Subject: RE: Snowplow for utv

Eastern Ontario, Canada
does it spin or die out from lack of power? i know with my diesel gator with glass cab and plow and 6 suitcase weights in the back i am pushing 3000 lbs total weight. i almost exclusively use in scoop mode. very seldom do i need low gear let alone the V. I can push through a foot of snow basically forever as once it has its scoop it spills to the sides. I have had to get the V out on some big drifts but for sure only the firsts pass through. it basically won't spin unless on glare ice.

I have blown the the front diff cage to pieces because of this. Complete operator abuse. The operator (me) has learned to not try to push the pedal further when trying to push the pile higher and it wont move and wont spin.... weakest link first to go.
