| Interesting Steve.
I think QAnon is a joke and I’m surprised it ever got so much traction but since anyone with more than air between their ears could see that Jan 6th was going to be a crazy day I made a point to keep as close of tabs on it as was practical from the safety of my home.
Twitter is the key for getting news before it is news. People posting stuff in real time. So I watched Twitter that day and I didn’t need any conspiracy theorists to tell me it was absolutely insane how the police reacted. There weren’t NEARLY enough police there for what was truly inevitable. Those that were there were not hardly trying in many cases and yes, there were examples of police basically inviting people in.
What happened that day was crazy in terms of security. I don’t know if it was a setup on the part of the Democrats to make Trump supporters look bad or if the police were sympathetic to Trump so they were very lenient or if it was part of a Trump plan or what but it was VERY unexpected behavior. |
