| I have the Snesi Smart Touch, and a friend has the Sensi Smart. I wanted the touch screen and nicer looking wall display. I was able to get it pretty inexpensively with a ComEd rebate program. I am LP as well and had to run a common for the thermostat power.
It is NOT hooked to Google or any other 'smart' devices, not a big fan of them.
Pretty easy install. Easy to program and change temps with my phone through the Sensi app.
The thermostat is connected to the house wifi. The app that controls it from my phone allows me to be anywhere I have cell signal, not just at home on wifi. If I am out or away, I can check or change the house temp, or change the temperature program.
My friend uses his to keep an eye on his weekend house. I believe there is a temperature alarm feature, though I am not sure. | |
