| I had a blood clot go into my heart. Guys NO MATTER your age or health - learn the symptoms of a heart attack. Even though I KNEW what it was, I couldn't accept it was happening to me, 49 never had been to a Dr for any health problems in my life. My son didn't believe it either, but we both knew "something" was serious enough that I needed to get to the hospital NOW. About 5 minutes away from the hospital , while on the phone with the ER, my left arm started to go numb, THAT was the final 100% positive proof it was happening.
This was what the Doc pulled from my heart, he later told me he had never seen blood as thick as mine - in a living person.
