I would think it should be mixed more. Last year we tried and additive in the nitrogen to help with digestibility of corn silage. Would load nitrogen bottom of tank then the other product. When loaded the planter during the day can see change during the day, have seen with other things mixed. Do not see it after loading the tank and then mixing it by running it through the lid and circulating
