The freezing temps did a number on my oats and ryegrass that we graze,I’m anxious to see how it comes back.

Do you have much problem with off-flavors in your milk while grazing small grains? I've had a volunteer small-grain show up here in the springtime, and the cows love it. I almost can't stomach the taste of the milk during that time, though. I've heard from others that this issue exists with any fresh small-grain forage. |
