Buffalo IL | I've used power aid, howe's, and now use the Lucas antigel product. I haven't had problems with the #2 biodiesel. Can't seem to get a blend of #1. I get it from FS and it has a product called sure flow added to it. I use to hardly get it out of the fuel tank to the tractor and they must be doing a better job with it because I is pumping fine now. Use to have to change the fuel filter on the fuel tank because it would jell. power aid 911 is just a rescue. I had a JX95 tractor and it was terrible about jelling. The fuel filter was out by the step on the cab and would have to spin it off dump it and fill it with power aid , put it back on, and then start the tractor. I replaced that tractor with a kubota and have not had any problem with them. I forgot,I had one jell once because one time I did put power aid or howe's in the bulk tank for 300 gallons and had a tractor start to jell and decided it was because the anti jell settles out and after i had used about half the tank it didn't have enough in the fuel in what was left, so I just add it to the tractor fuel tank when I add fuel. Just my experiences. I haven't ever had a water problem in my fuel and I also add biocide to my fuel tanks twice a year to prevent any algae with biofuels.
Edit- Don't use gasoline trick on new generation tractors, but you are probably fine with older style fuel injection systems.
