Subject: RE: Shelbourne header

Eastern Washington State
I've found the Shelbourne headers to be very reliable. The stripping fingers do wear out, but its easy to stay ahead of that during the off season. I've had the stripping rotor belt break on me once, but I knew it was on its way out and had a spare. Compared to a conventional header they are very simple with just two moving parts, the stripping rotor and the auger.
