That one showed up on the sidebar while I was watching Sampson Boat, another intensive wood worker, on a huge project.
The counterpart to that channel is Acorn-to-Arabella. They're building a smaller wooden boat from scratch, intending it to be manageable by a single person, but still be large enough to house several people and travel the world. I'm following both the Tally Ho and the Arabella projects quite closely. Right now, Tally Ho and Arabella are at a similar stage. Both have a completed hull and deck structure, and are both partially planked. Tally Ho is likely to hit the water first, because of a much larger workforce, but Arabella won't be too far behind it. |
