| An average yield on 80 million acres is a whole different animal than an average for a farm. We usually use an budgeting average that constantly creeps up a couple bu/acre. It is also a number that is 50-60 bu/ac less than a 1 field yield that has been achieved.
I can remember a 150 field yield when 125-30 farm average , as well as having 275ish field yield when the farm average is only approaching 220.
