| We have both, but the Cat is much older than what you are shopping, so probably not as relevant to the conversation. When we were looking to add one, we tried them all. Deere has the stoutest lift arms with the exception of JCB. Cat and Deere are a similar distance from home, about 45 minutes, with New Holland being the only other one in "close" proximity. We ended up with a 333G, and it's a beast of a machine. With similar options, it ended up almost $30k cheaper than the Cat, a little cheaper than Bobcat, NH, and JCB, and similar in price to a Kubota. In a world where they all make a pretty good machine, it came down to service and price. It sounds like you are after a used machine, so good luck with your hunt. They are in high demand right now, but unfortunately, I suspect that will fade over the next couple of years. | |
