Perdue is offering net price in the $.35 per pound range what average yield do you think? can crop insurance be purchased in Illinois for sunflowers? THANKS

I planted 1/2 an acre this year on corn stubble with no fertilizer and yielded 2200 lb/acre.

My insurance agent says I might be able to insure with a written agreement. I'm going to try double cropping some after wheat and also put in around 40 acres full season and forget about insurance.
