Canada does have a grain exchange in Winnipeg, I have been there once years ago and toured it.  I suspect low volume
similar to Minneapolis. I have also been on the floor of the Mpls. and Chicago grain exchanges.  

What was interesting, in Mpls.they had samples of wheat that do come in on a cash grain bid right there to look at and bid.

Now the open outcry bidding is gone I believe.
