Alberta Canada		How do you manage the power grid when wind generates between 5 - 40 percent of the total supply?

Can you have a coal plant sitting idled for days or months and hope that it has no hiccups when you try to restart it?

Who is going to pay for the manpower and equipment when it is sitting idled because the wind turbines are generating enough electricity?
