Can anyone say that incorporating alternative "green" (wind /solar) doesn't complicate the system enormously? I think to an extent if the wind/solar was less then the traditional systems would have been already up to speed (or more capable of speeding up). I'm all for some diversity and some redundancy, but I think reliability to begin with is or should be number 1 by a long measure. Like nearly every disaster it was a combination of elements (a perfect storm).
