Sorry to bemoan EVs and wind solar.. which I support.. to a point.. but.. I don’t want my power supply to be tied to only when the wind blows?
Where’s the common sense? There should be fossil fuel backup.. installed and ready to go for a chunk of renewable generation capacity.
Coal plants generally have a pile of fuel stacked next to the plant.
