I'm just saying that if they have snow on the ground, and it wouldn't be that cold for that long without snow on the ground usually, then the snow will keep the frost from going deeper very fast, and may let the ground thaw because deeper ground will still be relatively warm in most of TX. So the water mains and most service laterals will probably be in better shape than the plumbing in the attics, water heaters in the garages, etc. | |
