That’s better insulation than my old farmhouse.
Back in the 80’s the folks did 1 room remodel a winter. It really made a huge difference to put in new windows that didn’t leak air or rain, and to have actual insulation- even if only 4” I the walls and r 25 up in the attic craw space.
It’s getting time to overhaul it again, but it’s not a well built 100 year old house.
I think this issue might be of some interest to Texans
