Fruita CO
I got home one day, opened the door from the garage to laundry room, & water ran out...the hot water hose to the washer had blown out. Not a braided hose, just black rubber. The water was spraying on the wall & had washed the drywall off in that spot. My son had left less than an hour before & it hadn't broken yet. The water was about an inch deep & had just started to seep under the carpet in the den...close call, would have been a huge mess if I hadn't got home when I did. Steel braid hoses since then, replace them after about 5 years, & the washer lines are shut off any time we're gone for more than a day. I HATE floods!
