North of London | Stories written down many years after are just that, stories.
Theories, scientific not just common usage of that word, do not require belief since they have been proven.
Something does not become the best explanation because 'someone' decided.
The science based explanations do not become accepted until they have been shown to be correct by many people.
I guess you are too young to remember when TV screens showed 'snow' when there was no channel broadcasting on it but it is an interesting story based on how microwaves that had been predicted based on the understanding of the Big Bang theory were discovered in the static on TV's.
I think it was a couple technicians trying to overcome the static that figured out what was causing it and it was then shown to be true to the predictions in the theory.
There is a mystery for you to work on and figure out where that matter came from.
it is beyond my pay scale and some of the hypothesis that I have read seem to be way out there so I will wait for smarter people than me to figure it out. | |
