Pittsburg, Kansas | A long time ago we used the same 2 ton truck on both a dump grain bed and lime spreader bed. Had it set up in a shed where we raised the dump bed, bolted a cross beam between two poles, jacked up the rear, pulled the pin, disconnected lift. And drove away. Backed under the lime bed which was supported on barrels, bolted it down.
Done the switch twice a year. Took two guys a few hours. Not ideal but did it for a number of years. | |
