edgerton ks. | Unfortunately that’s not in the flowers physiology. They are all gdu driven. The only way to “stretch” out the length of flowers stay bright is to cool them off. We do lots of flowers with our Agritourism. Ones that flower in heat/ mid summer time here last about 5 days max in bright condition. The ones we have flower in fall for our pumpkin patch may last 2 weekends in relatively good photographic condition. Even mixing maturities doesn’t make for an exactly stunning field. Your best bet is what your doing. Space out plantings every 5 days or so during summer or 8 to 10 days for fall flowers. Good luck. Where are you located? | |
