My mom had a fridge that was having more issues with frost and door gasket leaks. It was built and installed in 2000, so she figured it was time for a replacement. She got a good deal on a very similar fridge that was in better shape(gaskets looked nearly new). While installing that one, we saw a manufacture date of 1989!
