I was guilty of thinking lp prices wouldn't move much so I didn't prepay my normal LP gallons, instead I paid the coop $50 to cap the price. The price cap is some protection from high price spikes, but prepaying winter gallons is much cheaper. Temps are predicted to go from -10 to +37 by next Tuesday so hopefully the propane usage will slow down a bit.
