Electra Steer is the same drive unit as Ag Leader OnTrac 3. If the steering wheel is hard to turn by hand something isn’t right with the installation/mounting if the MDU. Make sure the guide wheels are correctly following the gear, the screws holding the gear to the steering wheel are evenly torqued, and that the gear is properly centered. There is something going on that’s making the wheel hard to turn.
