Since the amount of corn silage far exceeds your needs, the best option would be to try to get all 250 split into a 3 year rotation. Corn, Soybeans, and a cereal like wheat, barley or oats. This provides your uncle the opportunity to spread at least 3 different times/year. Double crop the cereal acres. Lots of saleable feed if not needed.
