s.e. Pa | I don't think grass hay will work. Our town sprays their treated wastewater on grass hay fields. Lots of people have baled them thru the years, and the hay is pretty low quality. Animals don't like to eat it because of the smell.
Thought about this a little bit more, and it may work. The town sprays every day, until they shut of the water to cut the fields. If you were only spreading a couple times per season, right after it was cut, I could see that working.
