Subject: Carlsoncl......moisture corn in grain bin

SW WI
A couple years ago you told about a bin full of 18ish moisture corn in a bin that you ground for feed. Is this your usual program? I’ve had that over winter....not a full bin put since I’ve got just air dry bins, fall of 18 and 19, some of my corn didn’t dry all the way before I just froze it for the winter and resumed drying in the spring.

I can see this working for winter months. But constant planning on if and when to run a little air depending on the temps during winter. Not for the faint of heart.

I haven’t intentionally tried this and just thinking about storage/ feeding if I would ever expand my cattle feeding.
