I wouldn’t want a cow that don’t claim a calf, easiest way to get rid of that genetics, let em come up dry at branding or weaning...’send em.’
I’m not in the cow business, but I wouldn’t own one that needs its calf tagged if I was!


The thing is she will claim A calf, trouble is there are two, it is easy to tell if she is keeping up with both of them if they are tagged.

I will stick the tag in backwards on twins just to make it easier to spot them, be sure she is doing her job.
