The desert of south central neb | Was out feeding cows tonight seen a calf couple week old would run around then flop on his belly juggle around then repeat. Got done doing chores went to check on him closer was laying down bloated up wasn’t dead but could tell he was a dier.
Is there anyway to prevent this? I read where with the weather we had then they load up on milk afterwards can cause it. I’m guessing I’m just going to chalk this up as bad luck.
Edit: he was fine throughout the day just noticed it tonight.
