Well, its new to me because I haven't personally applied a whole lot of it the last ten years or so. Usually, the coop does that application for me, particularly as a harvest helper in dry beans. Looks like the ball got rolling on this sometime around 2000.

Really, my reason for getting after it now is because I might want to use it this spring as a burn down immediately before I plant beans. I think it'll be a useful tool in my "pursuit" of successful no till dry beans in a marestail rich environment, but thats a different story!

Actually, I took the on line training yesterday, so I guess that parts all set. Really not all that tough, takes about an hour to get through. Bottom line is don't get any in your mouth, because "all it takes is one sip" and you're likely a goner! This stuff just doesn't tolerate a whole lot of carelessness in handling, so PPE is pretty darn critical. Anyway, I guess I'd reccomend taking the training, regardless.
