I have never understood the fascination with a cobet water. They just don’t hold enough water and the drinking area is to small. Probably ok for ten, maybe twenty head, but much more than that and I think your short on water.

Still have to break ice on those things from the look of them, no lid to them. Always thought the point of having a nice cattle drinker was to not have to touch the water in the wintertime. Have Pride of the Farm 20 gallon drinkers and one only has 6 hd on it -6 degrees this morning no ice since it has lids. Maybe people don't like training cattle to open the lids but no big deal takes maybe 2 or 3 days max and that's on light feeder calves they're not the smartest things most the time...
