NC Kansas
45 head on a large cobett will work fine. We have a weak water supply/slow refill and it’s iffy at times when the cows turn into pairs and they are really consuming groceries. But they are damn nice when it comes to avoiding freeze up. We’ve been to -15 here 2 nights in a row. About 1.5” of ice was the thickest of the three waters we broke out. Open the. Up once and they are good for the day. Don’t have to break ice at all if consistently about 15-20 degrees
