Subject: Nat gas and NH3

So with this recent shortage of natural gas, where will that leave us in regard to nitrogen supply and price? Particularly but not limited to nh3. I know the price has been trending up anyway. This can’t help matters. What will this do to planting intentions and actual acres planted if people can’t get nitrogen? Or are all the intended corn acres already fertilized? Just some musings on a cold snowy day. FWIW I have a couple hundred acres I want to put some preplant N on yet and the rest was going to be sidedressed. Will we have nh3 available in May to sidedress? Interesting times ahead
