Ol’ Wisco | 5-7 years is well only 5-7 data points. To have confidence in a data set it should have at a minimum 30 data points. Therefore, their use of a long term data set is far more statistically plausible, to much noise in just 5-7. Also they use a trend line yield bc it is an objective number derived from previously adjust data within the population anything other would be subjective in nature.
And spare me the USDA is out to suppress price BS I ve heard it every which way you can imagine and I’m not buying it.
