ND | Sold the steers second week of January but have the heifers left. I advertised them on internet and had two guys call and want pics. One guy wanted all reds and other wanted blacks. Then one wanted pics of just the reds together after I took a video of them walking through them in sorting alley. At -25 I decided to heck with it. They will go to sale barn. Here is the question. I am gonna be out of corn. I can probably get some good corn screenings from my cousin to buy me 2 weeks. I'm okay with the market right now. The weather down south has me worried though. Is a guy gonna lost 5-6$ per cwt due to weather down south? Should I hold out couple weeks and let this pass? Anyone think the weather down south will have a bearing on the market this week. Looking at hauling them Wednesday for a Thursday sale. I live in central ND. TIA | |
