Central, IA | I think you would need a DPDT switch too. If you just have a SPDT On-off-on switch, removing the trigger wire in the center postion would still close the valve.
I would wire the outside terminals on one pole to 12v +. The center terminal would be 12v to the valve. Putting the swtich in the center position would remove the constant 12v and not let the valve close when removing the trigger wire. | |
