If You are just putting an Aux Master Sw to the EZ-boom:
I do not know if inputting +12 v to an otherwise unpowered EZ-Boom pin 10 (Aux Master Sw. input) would cause any harm. But just in case to make it safe You could take the power for it from pin 16 (Batt+) which will pover the "relay side" of the gadget.
First of all, putting power back in on Pin 10 shouldn't cause a problem with EZ Boom as it was designed to work with Raven wiring. Getting power from pin 16 would be fine but really doesn't offer any safety to the issue as it is battery constant power anyway. Pin 14 is switched power and is only "hot" when the device is ON which doesn't offer much more safety either. |
