Wisconsin | Not sure what that design was going for except that the tanks were free? One amish version is two pieces of square or rectangular section welded into a V, one about 6' tall as the chimney and the other about 2' for the wood feeding with a flap lid on the top. No tank needed at the bottom so easier to keep submerged and much easier to cut and weld two square sections than two pipes together, or two pipes to a rusted out tank. Burns better also. Actually the local amish usually use a chest freezer and water the animals once a day in frigid weather, the lid of the freezer keeps the leftover water from freezing, and the fresh water is much less frigid.
