| Opened drains on overflows with about a half inch circle stream on float systems on submersible wells. Staying open but quite a few watering off them.
Have a tank on a pressure float system with a thermostat pisser. It has ice over the sides and freezing up. Probably 10” or so. First time a pisser hasn’t worked for me. Only 20 some head on that tank tho.
If it’s on a float system I’d just keep the water flowing....
I love solar systems on pastures 90% of the time, this weather is when windmills are better...
