Subject: RE: change to beans

NorthWest Mississippi
Cutting back on my normal corn acres.Have a custom farm that wants to plant corn this year.I can harvest beans faster and raise them with much less input costs than corn.If they were not adamant about growing corn this year,I would be back at my normal rotation.I try to stay 40-50% rotation.I did plant 500 acres of wheat this year on 350 acres that would have normally went into corn. The other 150 is just hill ground that needed rotating out of soybeans. The 350 of wheat is under pivot so I can water the DC beans. No idea how it will work out but best alternative I had at wheat planting time.MidSummer wheat cash flow cannot hurt.
