southern MN | I’m not changing beyond the normal small changes year to year.
My beans happen to go on the drier, slightly lower ph ground this year, which is a good thing for beans here. So I’m hoping on working on a good yield, rather than working on a acre change. This might be the year to plant beans early while waiting for the corn ground to dry out, or the like.
Besides, you had me all excited, October beans ar $10.98 at this moment, a far cry from $14! Here corn usually works out better on yield potential and price; if beans actually go up another $3 I would think corn would keep pace. Lofty goals you have!
