I used Fastenal 1 time to ship some planter parts. They lost my shipment but did eventually locate it. Yes they were 1/2 price roughly of LTL freight in my case. However I had to go 30 miles to their store (twice 1st call was wrong order) so there goes 2 hours of time and some mileage. It's an ok option if you are near a store. Next time I'll probably go LTL door to door.
