People aren't saying the EV itself isn't possible. People are saying the problem of charging and generating/moving enough "green power" is the problem. Electric drives on planters are fossil fuel powered. The electricity is just a means of power transfer.

That brings up another good question though. How much battery power will be required to run all the electronics in a tractor and on the implement behind it. Drives, vac fans, blowers, down pressure, air compressors, and so on.
