Thanks for that, very educational, I had mine with Rain and Hail for years, now with Farmers Mutual out of Des Moines, Iowa, they have been very good, both in adjusters, and prompt payment of any loss.
I am thinking this story is not known much, if at all among farmers.
Farmers that i have talked to are unaware about foreign ownership of crop insurance companies.IMO should be illegal for a crop insurance company that profits from tax payer $to be owned by anyone that is not a US owned company.
