Subject: Trimble vs Raven for spraying in a Rogator

NW Iowa
Our current sprayer is a Rogator RG900B. Has a raven Viper 4, RS1, Hawkeye system on it now. We like the system but don’t like how the Raven monitor navigate and is not as user friendly for us to operate personally. We use Trimble TMXs and FMX on our other equipment. Going to Trimble we would gain RTK and use existing an existing monitor and components we already have. We could resell the Viper 4 if we would switch. Just curious if anyone out there is using a Trimble system for more than just steering on a sprayer and how they like it. I’m unsure if we would be able to communicate and run all the product controllers and such for all the raven components such as boom height, section control, Hawkeye, etc effectively. We would be using a Trimble TMX 2050 running FMX+ or Precision IQ.
