Eastern Shore of MD | Our corn has been custom planted by a planter with the 2x2x”2” set up. I put it in quotations because it’s no where near 2” deep; it’s really barely in the ground from my observations. We vt to prep the seed bed and when it rains, you can see the discolored strips on either side of the seed trench.
In my mind, I’m thinking the fert isn’t where it needs to be and is much too shallow. I’ll be looking for a standard 2x2 setup on my planter I think. | |
