$80/ton dropped in windrows and even at that it’s hardly worth the nutrient and organic matter that you’re giving up. Have gotten as much as $90 in 2016
Unless you're up to your eye balls in organic matter and have potash through the roof, you're throwing fertility away. Highest I've seen here was $40 in the windrow, and that just won't cut it.
Anyone knowledgeable on wheat straw?
