Sounds like smaller pieces are commanding premium dollars here. If in it for farming might be worth it to pony up and dump the extra 30% to get double the acres. Might be a here thing.
No, it’s an everywhere thing. The small parcels have way more potential buyers.
That said, I’d have a hard time happily parking money at .5%. Last spring when we were trying to stash some cash for a purchase, there were some cd’s that could get 1.6%. That’s not much, but still beats .5.
