Jeffersonville, OH | If you have an Ontrac2+ I don't believe you would have to upgrade to an InCommand. a 2+ hooks up different than a regular 2, and I believe the 2+ and 3 will all hook to the same monitors, but the old 2 hooks to Can A on the display cable and doesn't play well with the newer stuff. I know I have ran a 2+ with an Integra and Versa, as well as a InCommand.
Now, the new Steady Steer, as far as part numbers all the vehicle kits are all different...but, from what I have seen, it looks like the same gears with different brackets for the new steering motor unit. The Steady Steer DOES need to be ran by an InCommand display. I have had one customer install a Steady Steer by himself already, and I have one laying here to go in an old 4wd whenever the customer gets the tractor ready for it. From the things I am hearing, the Steady Steer's performance is better than the Ontrac3, which was very impressive in my opinion.
